version 1.082 - What should I expect.  I have designated 36 of 40 megs of ram in my 2019 iMac to APP.  It is using 5 of 6 threads.  Frequently I see the app is showing only 1% of use with occasional jumps to 70 or 80%.  The files are on my local harddrive desktop.

I am now approaching 8 hours of processing (my second effort at this because I thought something was wrong the first time and so quit and rebooted and restarted.

I am try to process 300 lights and the MF, MD, MDF, MB, and BPM. now after these 8 hours I am still at just 52% of integration.

None of my earlier projects took near this long.

Is there anything I can do?  For most of the 8 hours the computer was not in use.  Now it has only been in use to to examine the progress and send this message.  During this message, the APP has only reported the use of 1%.  Maybe I don't understand what that means, but it seems there must be something I can do.  At least in the future.

Thanks for your help.

Is your Mac going to sleep or activating a screensaver in between? I've noticed this to be an issue on MacOS sometimes where APP stalls if that is active. I hope these kind of things get solved when we are on Java 11 which is our direction right after the next update.

Apart from that, processing does take time as it's using more complex algorithms than some other applications. The reason though is that it does enable us to produce better results more easily. It's a trade-off in that sense. We are always improving steps for speed and GPU processing will be a thing in a future version as well.
