Today I notice when processing multiple messages in the "progress box" - not sure what its actually called - saying "starting LNC" follwed by "turning off LNC, cant get sample size"
I'm just using the default setting I think, in which LNC isn't enabled. So why is it trying to turn it on?
I'm sure there must be a good explanation!

Indeed, this is nothing to worry about, LNC is not turned on. I need to fix the console output for that case that it will stay silent about LNC. I have put this on my list to fix 😉 Thank you for notifying us about this.

Great - it didn't seem to affect processing.
Whilst I'm in debug mode (!) my latest 4 session process did "per session" and "all" integrations, as requested, but also did per filter and all filter integration where I only requested per filter. Hope I've explained myself ok!
