When I use the save and split calibrated frames from a OSC sensor, what is the best way to recombine the data to create an artificial luminance integration?

You could load in the R, G and B data and assign them to the same channel (luminance) and create a stack from that. It won't be a very nice luminance, because there is quite a bit of noise in the blue likely but it can work very well. Then you have an artifical luminance and the other stacks are the usual R, G and B. These final integrations you load in again, normalize them and save the normalized frames, which can then be imported in the RGB combine tool.
