Hi,

I am stacking 56 subs from two different camera along with concurrent flats, dark flats, and darks.

Is there anything in my stacking parameters that could successfully deal with the artifacts that show in the attached screenshot?  The artifacts are scattered randomly across the stacked image.

Thanks for any advice.

@andynowlen Those artifacts are bad pixels that apparently do not get removed adequately by APP. This usually indicates either bad darks or a bad bad pixel map. Or both. Did you shoot new darks for these lights or are you reusing old ones?

In tab 2 under Cosmic Correction, you can enable hot pixel kappa and then set it to a lower value. Be careful not to set it too low because that will clip useful data as well. Try lowering it in steps of 0.2 until you see that the hot pixels are gone.
