Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hi. Since downloading the latest version of APP, I am consistently having problems with the results (as per the image attached). The Amp Glow from my 183CProTec is obvious from the right (despite using 50 dark files, all at the same temp etc) and the vigneting appearance is pretty awful. I have changed nothing in the way I process the files, I dither when capturing to reduce noise etc, and have great difficulty then trying to process this out to make the image acceptable.

Would appreciate any advice - this has only happened since upgrading to 1.083 and then 1.083.2.

Thanks in anticipation.

In this regard not much changed in APP itself I think. Are you taking flats? How old are your darks?
I use Flats, Dark Flats, Darks and Bias. All of them are a day old... Since losing patience with this, I reprocessed using a library of calibration frame from 30 months ago, and the image came out absolutely fine! Settings for new Calibration frames were identical to the old ones, so I remain absolutely baffled...
That would indicate something went wrong with the new ones, you can maybe check the various calibration file headers in APP to see if you see any issues there (like different offset or offsets of 0 etc)
