Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Apr 12 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta41 has been released !

It has a major performance boost of 30-50% over 2.0.0-beta39 from calibration to integration, for mosaics even faster! We extensively optimized many critical parts of APP. All has been tested to guarantee correct optimizations. Drizzle and image resampling is much faster for instance, those modules have been completely rewritten. Much less memory usage. LNC 2.0 has been released which works much better and faster. Improved Outlier Rejection with LN 2.0 rejection. macOS CMD+A works now in file chooser ! And more...

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Please be aware, upon ordering your license you should receive three e-mails:

  1. An e-mail with your new account on this platform if you did not have an account yet.
  2. An e-mail with your order confirmation
  3. An e-mail with the license code to activate your license.

 

E-mails 1 & 2 will be sent directly to your e-mail address

 

E-mail 3 will NOT be sent directly, it will be sent once the order is processed. Please allow up to 24 hours for the order to be processed.

 

A SPECIAL NOTICE FOR GMAIL users:

GMAIL will probably put e-mail 3 with the license code in your spam folder. Please check your spam folder for the license code e-mail and inform Google that mail from astropixelprocessor.com is not spam.

I have tried contacting AstroPixelProcessor support three times regarding my licensing issue, but I never received any reply at all. This is extremely disappointing.

I was genuinely interested in purchasing the software and wanted to properly test it before making a decision. However, if I cannot even get a response or basic support during the trial stage, it makes me question what kind of support I could expect as a paying customer.

Because of this experience, I’ve decided not to buy AstroPixelProcessor. It’s really unfortunate, as I had high hopes for this software.

Leszek, I have responded by email to your query, your old Trial, since never activated, will still work, simply try to activate it.

Howdy!

I recently purchased an owner's license of the software, and this was roughly 48 hours ago. I received the email from Stripe indicating successful purchase, but unfortunately I have not received the emails containing the license itself. Should I have received the license emails by now, or how long should I expect to wait?

And if I should have it already, is there a specific process I should go through in order to request assistance?

I've already checked my spam email too, just to be sure, but not luck there either.

Just wanted to say Mabula was able to help me get fixed up here. Thanks @mabula-admin! Seems I was getting caught up in an edge case scenario in the email system that was preventing the emails from going through, and it's specific to a fairly uncommon configuration on my email. If this exact scenario was impacting others here, you likely just got some emails now. And if it's something else, know that Mabula is around and will be helping out.

Can I ask when the full version 2 is released are you planning on an extra fee for the renters, as I noticed you said there would not be for the owners but no mention on the renters

You are most welcome, it's my pleasure !

For APP 2.0 stable there will not be any extra fee, not for Owner's and not for Renter's. The Renter's license holders will never have an extra fee, because they have the yearly subscription 😉 On the product description of the Owner's license it says, that Owner's license holders can need to pay an extra upgrade fee at some point in the future. Maybe for APP 3.0 that would be the case. Hope that explains it?

I am working on the final bits of the manual, once the manual is really ready to be published I release it with 2.0 stable. I aim to do this before Christmas this year.
