May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !
Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.
Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options
Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi Roman,
First things first, you really shouldn't start the AstroPixelProcessor-out.jar yourself (without knowing which java runtime parameters you need to use).
Secondly, when you run the jar yourself, certain features and fuctions will give errors like you experience now. It's not setup to work like that 😉 so getting the errors is not really surprising 😉
If Astro Pixel Processor won't start normally after installation, then probably something on your Windows system is preventing APP to start properly.
This could be an antivirus/security program. It has been reported that Norton will not allow APP to run, unless you explicitly tell Norton that APP is allowed to run.
Another reason could be that a firewall is blocking APP. You need to locate the piece of software on you system that is blocking APP.
Let me know if this helps to get APP started properly.
Kind regards,
Mabula
Ok. I found solution.
This software default is in c:\Users\NAME SECNAME\AppData\Local\
There can not be weird characters like Cyrillic etc. Not for Java.Â
Btw maybe next update you can change this.

Excellent Roman, thank you for your feedback 😉 It's really appreciated.
I'll put it on the RFC 😉 to fix this.
I take it that APP runs fine now ?
Did you create a user on Windows without those problem characters to be able to run APP?
Kind regards,
Mabula
