UPDATE FROM MABULA
I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Â Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
I'm having a hard time finding my stacked/registered image. I've managed to load the frames, set the "save directory" to a folder on my desktop, registered them, then APP makes the "gong" sound but no image shows in APP or is saved to the folder I set the save directory to. Where is the stacked/registered image? I've looked through a few tutorials but I think this question is so basic no one covers it. Thx for your help.

Did you have a reason to save your registered frames ? In a simple integration these are not normally saved. They sort of exist 'virtually' and go into normalise that way. If you do have a reason to save the registered frames then you should start the registration, then when it is complete scroll down to the bottom of tab 4 and hit 'save registered frames'.
This can be used, for example, to register results of previous integrations to each other so that they can be combined later.
It is perfectly feasible to load up the lights and calibration frames in tab 1, then go to tab six (check that the multi channel / multi filter options are right) and just hit integrate. APP will run all the steps/tabs and put the final integration into your working folder (unless there is a critical error).
However, I would recommend that you load the data and then go straight to tab 5. Run normalise and then check the graphs and see if there are any bad frames (clouds or whatever) that you would like to delete. Then go to tab 6 and run 'integrate'.
If I have misunderstood your question, and you have run a successful integration but can't find the output file, then that might indicate a problem with your setup. Some sort of permissions or access issue.

You may need some help from someone familiar with the Mac setup. That's not me - I'm a Windows / Linux guy.
I would note that it looks like you are still using beta 41. I recall there were some reliability issues with that release. I would update to beta 45 and try again.

On macOS, it is not recommended to save to your desktop, but if you try to do so, macOS should actually ask you if you approve this. Maybe that message from macOS was lost or not visisble at the time of your initial integration?

@mabula-admin Yes, thank you. I figured out what I was doing wrong. So it was no fault of the software... just my being a luddite and trying to learn too many user interfaces (APP, Premire Pro, LRTimelapse) all at once and getting confused. Thanks again for checking in!
