Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

EDIT by Mabula: Solved by balancing R,G,B in 0) Color Settings.

Hi

M 94 St

The attached stacked image is produced by stacking 60 frames with dark, bias and flat using an ASI 2600MC and Celestron edge 11". As you can see the image is dominated by an intense green color difficult rot remove in post processing. If I check the "neutralize background box , the background turns red. Can you please help?

Maybe the Bayer pattern is not selected right in the color settings tab. I use defaults for everything so pattern selected is "supported" and force Bayer/X-Trans CFA is unchecked

I tried that but the result is the same. Which algorithm would you recommend?

Problem solved! silly me! In the color settings the red color tab was unbalanced with respect to the others. Just equalizing all of them it gave a perfect background. Sorry for the disturbance but the info could still be useful to some beginner like me

No hey problema. I often suggest people simply revert all setting to default (Reset in license and settings at top left) and try again but good you found it. Clear skies!

Hi @sgambaro,

Great that you have found the cause of the issue. I will make sure this is mentioned in the upcoming manual as well.
