Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
So, I had been using 1.075 on trial and decided to purchase a renter's license. In the process, I upgraded to 1.077. Now it is crashing.
Unfortunately, I've no idea how to provide debugging information. All I can say is I was trying to stack data from my D5100 and D5300 like I'd done in 1.075, so I know it should work.
I got down to stacking only 10 lights, no darks/bias/flats - it stacked those. When I added bias and flats, it crashed.
System is Windows 7, 16GB, gobs of SSD. 1.075 was configured to use 8GB. I thought why not go for 12GB for 1.077, but it crashed. Reconfigured for only 8GB now.
Recommendations?
Reporting another type of crash (1.077 on OSX) when loading CR2 files (Canon 5D3): software crashes just as soon as you hit Open on the open file dialog.
HOWEVER: this seems fixed (with the exact same files) in 1.077.3

Okay, found how to revert to 1.075, reran a simple stack and it worked fine. Going to go with something more adventurous that previously worked in 1.075.
