I know this one isn't an APP processed image, but nonetheless, Congratulations to Andre van der Hoeven - his spectacular exploding Perseid has (once again) earned him a Nasa APOD. This is one of those incredible images that Nasa has chosen to repeat as an APOD, so clearly they think it was rather cool!

Yes, it's just a very spectaculair image indeed 😉 To be used as an APOD more than once is pretty special...
(André is currently in the United States for holiday and the upcoming solar eclipse, so I'll make sure he receives your congratulations 😉 )
