Hi,  I like APP very much but am getting frustrated by the almost complete uselessness of the list box at the bottom of APP main screen.  For instance, once I have analysed stars I would like to list/sort the light frames by quality score (as an example), well I cant do that (at least it seems impossible to do).  If I drag the quality score tab from the right of that frame and bring it next to the tick/select column, as soon as i click on another line the whole list box reverts to its standard format, ie a huge wide column with most of the other data, including Quality Score off screen and to the right again. Very very frustrating. So, what i would like to see in the future is a box with similar usage such as DSS has where one can set a score, be it quality of whatever, to be able to sort subs/lights in column order eg Quality, stars etc with an option to list from greater to lesser value or the other way around.  Also once one has sorted the lights into the order we want to then be able to select a group, press 'space' (as an example) so that all the selected subs become 'unselected' or indeed selected.

I would find the whole package of APP much more useful and wholly less frustrating to use if, in the future, the list box can be made to be useful please.

Also, im getting on, i may indeed have not figured out if any of this is already available on APP, but if it is, it is terribly difficult to find (impossible!).

Thankyou, hope to see this added soon.

Kind regards

Stuart

@snmair Hi Stuart,

Sorry to read about your frustration. Which version of APP are you using?

Thanks, Wouter

Hi Stuart,

We're also looking into saving the order of the table columns, it is an issue we're working on.

Thanks, but making the table columns useful, eg being able to sort selected column by order (Quality for instance) and being able to select groups or individual lines would be extremely useful.

Thanks

Sorting is already possible, though maybe not in a very standard way. You can right click in the table and then select various sorting options. When you click on a row it gets selected, shift-click will make it possible to select multiple lines.

Hi Stuart @snmair,

Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. Like Vincent indicated, sorting is already possible with the right-mouse button click menu when you hoover over the frame list. You can select mulitple frames with both ctrl and shift keys as well.

Sorting by clicking on the column headers is actually a feature we are working on right now, so that should be possible soon as well.

@mabula-admin Dear Mabula

Thankyou very much for your reply.  I do hang my head in stupidity and shame as  I did find the ability to sort files not long after my posting, so I give my apologies to you and all.  Thankyou for working on the ability to save column order (ie not having to drag columns each time).

Kind regards

Stuart
