UPDATE FROM MABULA
I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
Hi Mabula @mabula-admin
I had to replace my camera after a defect, and have now sessions of 2 different cameras, but exact same camera model, so the FIT-Header show the same equipment tag. The cameras are ZWO ASI2600MC, so modern Sony sensors.
All sessions of the old camera show color space „16b gray“, the sessions of the new camera show „16b RGB“. Even if I load a single session of one of the cameras, the same happens.
- I never looked at color space column before, so I don‘t know the color space, when I only had the old camera.
- I use ASIAIR 2.5.2 for image acquisition, and newest beta 46 to integrate.
- Old camera had filter wheel, so FIT header has a filter tag. “16b gray” is shown for all filters.
- New camera has no filter wheel.
Integration seems to work fine, despite the “gray” vs “RGB” tag.
Why is the color space different?
Thank you and best regards.
Michael
Hi Mabula.
I digged a bit further:
- For 2 frames of the new camera, I added a filter tag, having the same value 'HaO3 ‘ as the frames from the old camera (with filter wheel - the value is what I set in ASIAIR for this filter.
- Result: Exact these to changed frames have now color space „16b GRAY“ ... all other remain at „16b RGB“.
As I had no problems in integrating the frames of the camera mix, I will ignore this color space.
