Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hi,
In Beta 13, if I try to save the image as an 8 bit (default) Tiff, APP hangs and must be restarted. Â 32 bit seems to work ok. Â Trying to save as a Jpeg also hangs; maybe because the only option is to save it as an 8 bit file.
I am using a MacBook with an M1 processor.
Jeff
I've forwarded this possible issue to Mabula, thanks for notifying
Hi @jhart,
Thank you very much for reporting this and sorry for the delay in my response.
I have tested this on my M1 mac mini with 2.0.0-beta13 and saving to TIFF 8bitt and JPEG 8-bit works fine over here. Maybe there is an issue with the file that you are trying to save?
Did the issue occur more often, or was it only once?
Mabula
Hi Mabula,
I tried saving various stretched images again using the latest Beta and they all seem to be be saving fine.
Thanks, Jeff
