Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hi there - I looked around on the forums about this, but didn't see anything that answered the question. APP can extract Ha and Oiii data from a dual band filter, but now I have Sii and Oiii data on another dual band filter. But there is no option for this. How do I extract the Oiii and Sii data? Thanks!Â
@cheekywagwan Exactly the same way. Both Ha and SII are in the red part of the spectrum so APP can extract those fine. You will get files that indicate that the data are Ha data instead of SII but if you rename the files then you should be good to go. Perhaps APP stores the filter name into the FITS headers as well so that will be set to Ha then instead of SII so you may need to change that too in all SII files.
