Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello,

i use ZWO ASI 294 coulor camera and in my process in APP i prepare the RGB frame by algorithm "Ha-OII color" because i use a double band filter (L-Enhance).

Than i extract the Ha frame by the algorithm "Ha-OIII Extract Ha", but this frame is much more noisy than the rgb frame.

Why this difference? is related at the use of colour camera and debayering action or exist some parameter to set in APP to improve this frame. (is the same for extracting OIII frame)

With Ha-OIII color, it creates an image that is a mix of the provided signals, so the signal to noise ratio will be better. Also this is an integration ofcourse, I assume you're talking about a full integration of the Ha extracted frames, not just 1 right?

Yes, i do integration of all my light frames with "Ha-OIII color" and after, for the same frames i run a new integration with "Extract Ha" and also "Extract OIII"

It may have more noise, but can you post screenshots of both the RGB and mono result so I can see how big the issue seems to be?
