May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi there,
we (another Astro photographer and I) want to put our integrated lights together. To get a photo with a lot of exposure time.
Of course we have different cameras and telescopes.
Is it possible to do this with Astro Pixel Processor?

If so, how? 🙂

I don't know about different scopes, but different cameras yes. At least I was able to integrate raw files from both my unmodded D5300 and modded D5100. Oh course, they are similar, and I shot through the same scope (Celestron C8), but it worked. Good luck!

I tried to put two photos together. Unfortunately, the registration does not work perfectly. An APO teleskope does not fit perfectly with a mirror telescope.

I'm kind of surprised its that far off. Did you use "dynamic distortion correction" in the registration tab? And uncheck "same camera and optics"

Yes have tried all of these options. With and without. I experimented. However, it never became perfect.

Yes this is possible, we've made integrations of >5-10 different setups and combined them in APP automatically. It's one of its strengths even. It does become easier when each setup has nicely corrected data ofcourse, if one of them is distorted, that might be an issue. That would be an issue for any package though. So could you post an integration of the mirror scope and one of your setup here?

Could you procide me with the fits of both maybe? That would give me more information. But anway, was one of them mono and the other color? The M78_RAW_stack produces a very weird histogram in RGB. I'll experiment a little. 🙂

The file M78_RAW_stack is from the Astro colleague. He wrote me:
the histogram is shot for me because my flats are not color neutral. Therefore here is a red cast in the pictures ....

Equipment:
Esprit100 at F4.3
ASI1600MC-Pro

The other file is from me. I use the Skytatcher 200/1000 PDS with comacorrector and the Canon 5D MK IV.
