Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hello everyone.
I want to get rid of the bad images in a lot of Light images, does such a feature exist in the APP?
I want to exclude images that are covered with clouds or have dew on the lens.
I'm looking for a tool because visual confirmation takes time.

We don't have a quick preview tool yet no. At the moment you'll have to load in your image and then go through the list with your keyboard arrows.

Since star analysis is now a lot quicker (thanks Mabula!), I just go through that far -- registration and normalization tend to take awhile -- and then sort the list of lights by quality score. I look for sharp drops in the series of scores and then preview at least a couple of frames on either side of that. Once I've identified a cutoff point, it's usually pretty safe bet to remove everything below that.
It's not foolproof, of course, since occasionally you'll see a bad frame with a high quality score (or, in my experience much more rarely, the converse). But it's a pretty workable heuristic.
