7th December 2023: added payment option Alipay to purchase Astro Pixel Processor from China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and other countries where Alipay is used.
Hi,
I've just downloaded the 1.076 Beta totest the CR3 raw files from my M6 mkII, when I loaded the lights, screen popped up asking if this is multi-day processing, when I pressed no, the program closed and macOS showed the screen of unexpectedly closed program, I tried again with CR2 and the problem persists, I hopped back to 1.075 and everything is fine now, I wonder what could cause the problem, I was hoping to bypass Canon DPP tif conversion with the new APP.
Ok, thanks for reporting! That shouldn't be like that obviously, if needed we might request for some of your data to be uploaded if you'd be so kind. I've notified Mabula.
Hi Nhan Huynh @nhantuonghuynh ,
Thank you for sharing this issue. Can you try the following:
Open a commandline/terminal on MacOS and start app from the commandline, please check wat is reported on the commandline when the crash happens in MacOS Sierra 😉
Astro Pixel Processor would be located in:
/Applications/AstroPixelProcessor.app/Contents/MacOS
then execute
./AstroPixelProcessor
Did you install APP with the DMG installer properly without issues?
I have built the beta on MacOS Catalina, so there could be the possibility that we have compatibility problem between Catalina and Sierra.
Kind regards,
Mabula
Yes I installed without any problems with the DMG downloaded from the forum link (amazon.eu something), I can launch the app fine, but loading raw files, the app will be immediately closed, let me send you some screencaps.
Oh, I see you're still on 10.12? That might be the actual issue in this case as Mabula is building on Catalina. He's going to try to built on a version lower, but that will still not be 10.12. You aren't able to upgrade macOS?

Strange...I processed two different data sets using 1.076, on an imac OSX 10.9.5, Mavericks, with no problems!
