May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll be looking at such options in a later version.

It sorta works..you can stretch the whole app accross 2 screens, but it would be spiffy if you could put the display sction in anotor..like "loupe" setting in LR.

Hi Robert @bhill,

Please click on the top left CFG button, this is the configuration menu. Then select to use the image viewer in a separate window and click on save. This second window can by used to only see image data on a 2nd (or 3rd) monitor.

So there is no need to stretch the app accross multiple monitors like you indicate. Let me know if this helps. Please see the below screenshots, where the image viewer is actually on a 2nd and bigger monitor when compared to the primary monitor.

APP OpenGL external image viewer window on 2nd monitor
APP main window without image viewer

@bhill, a manual is in the making and it will be released online in HTML and offline in PDF format when APP 2.0 stable will be released 😉

We have also started the official Astro Pixel Processor YouTube channel where we will start posting new official video Tutorials for APP and release announcements with explanation of the new things in each release.

https://www.youtube.com/@AstroPixelProcessor

We aim to provide more guidance going forward as you indicate.

@bhill Hi Robert, FWIW here is a workflow I have put together.  It's not perfect by any standard but it is a reference that helps me remember various processing options and certain available operations and functions in APP.
