May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi folks

My 1.083.3 keeps crashing on my Windows 10 Laptop. Before I installed that version everything was fine. It seems like the crashes occure at the end of the integration process, before writing the FITS file.

Could anyone proviede the former release version, so that I can downgrade?

Cheers, Mathias

I carefully watched the process. The crash occurs during the 3rd iteration of 2nd deg. LNC.

Dear @bassniac,

The crash in LNC must be an out of memory crash. An older APP version will not fix that since the LNC algorithm was not changed.

How much memory have you assigned to APP with the CFG button ? And how many frames are processing?

@mabula-admin Hi Mabula

I assigned all my RAM (32 GB). As I found out. The problem had to do with a GPU driver Update, that I did right before updating APP. I updates the GPU driver again, now everything works fine again.

Cheers

I am running a Geforce GTX 1650 Ti on my notebook.

The current Driver version is: 30.0.14.9649.

The crashing version is the one before, i guess.
