Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options
Apr 12 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta41 has been released !
It has a major performance boost of 30-50% over 2.0.0-beta39 from calibration to integration, for mosaics even faster! We extensively optimized many critical parts of APP. All has been tested to guarantee correct optimizations. Drizzle and image resampling is much faster for instance, those modules have been completely rewritten. Much less memory usage. LNC 2.0 has been released which works much better and faster. Improved Outlier Rejection with LN 2.0 rejection. macOS CMD+A works now in file chooser ! And more...
Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Hello Fellows Astrophotographers ...
After long time im returned in our great hobby...
Have anyone found or create a workflow processing data from ocs and narrowband filters from scratch to finish ?

Hi Stratos @hyperion,
Glad to hear that you are back here !
I am here to help you. I do not directly have a workflow sheet for you, but I would suggest the following:
1) Download the latest APP version if you haven't done so yet from our Downloads section at https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/downloads/ (and activate your license if needed).
2) OSC and narrowband filters, you will need to check the menu 0) COLOR SETTINGS, this is the old RAW/FITS menu.
Use the appropriate debayer/x-Trans algorihthms for your narrowband filters. If you were using Multi-Narrowband filters, check out the new Multi-NB algorithms. Explanations are in the popup windows. Let me know if you need assistance or any clarification.
3) Create the integrations per Narrowband wavelength.
4) Load the integrations per NB wavelength (Ha, O3, etc) into the RGB Combine Tool to make the RGB composite of your choice.
Let me know if you have any question.

Hey Again Dear Mabula...
Great to find you again here ...
my setup is ocs and two narrowband filters,
one have wavelength H-a , H-b and OIII
the other i use it like RGB is light polution filter.
The first question is that i must use algorithm multi NB extract H-a & H-b (will extract two files H-a and H-b)?
that will combine like one file in HaOIIIRGB Combine tool ,
or multi NB extract H-a and multi NB extract OIII like the previous versions.
im searching to find which is the best workflow to processing files from ocs and narrowband filters ...
Thanks Again Mabula

Any help from Fellows astrophotographers that using Narrowband filters and osc will be welcomed… some basic workflow that explains how to combine files from light pollution filter (use it like RGB) and files from Narrowband filter (H-a , H-b , OIII)

Indeed, have you tried it? How is processing going? Let me know how I can assist 😉
