Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I have got a question. After I did in Tools Remove Light Pollution and Calibrate Background and wanted to do Star colour Calibration I got this screen. I just had done Calibrate Background I tried a couple of times but did not come any further.

Did you go from background calibration directly to star color calibration?
In star color calibration you will need to load the file with postfix -cbg.fits
The reason is that the calibrate background tool finds value(s) for the actual background(s) which are needed for accurate and correct adjustment of star colors.
The tools are shown in the order in which you should use them, from top to bottom. Let me know if this helps Hans 😉

I'll make a video tutorial tomorrow showing the path from
- remove light pollution
- calibrate background
- calibrate star colors
- color adjustments/tweaks with selective color
using RGB data. Maybe that shows you why the -cbg.fits doesn't show.
