Hello Mabula,
Latest version 1.068 seem to have a bug after loading an image in image viewer. After RGB combine I tried to load the resulting image for correcting light pollution. I can not place required boxes. The cancel button does not work too. Closing APP is the only option. This problem vanished after installing version 1.061 again.
Best, Ruud
Thanks for letting us know, I currently have no data to really test that, but I guess Mabula (@mabula-admin) does.
Hi, I have the same problem. If you load this file removed link into the light pollution tool, APP hangs. I hope this helps. regards, Richard
Oops, the forum removed the link to the problematic file. Here it is again but split up:

I just loaded it in and first of all... that's one fine result you have there! And indeed, I can re-create the issue I think (@mabula-admin), it hangs at "neutralising background", it doesn't crash just seems to get stuck there.
Hi Ruud @pol75rex , Richard @richardejmbtinternet-com and Vincent @vincent-mod,
Thank you for sharing this bug. I have downloaded Richard's file and I see the problem. I will work to have this fixed in APP's next release.
Kind regards,
Mabula
Hi Ruud @pol75rex , Richard @richardejmbtinternet-com and Vincent @vincent-mod,
I have located the root cause of this bug and fixed it 😉 so it should work properly in APP 1.069.
- FIXED, BACKGROUND NEUTRALIZATION algorithm, a bug was fixed which caused APP to enter a never ending loop which caused APP to stall. The bug manifested itself only on images with particular image dimensions and was described here: https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/main-forum/problem-with-creating-light-pollution-model/ . The Calibrate Background and Remove Light Pollution tools always start with a first preview of the data using Background Neutralization. So on certain light frames/integrations, the tools would have entered a never ending loop.
Kind regards,
Mabula
Thanks for the fix Mabula!
Hello Mabula,
Thanks for your quick response.
Looking forward using 1.069.
Best, Ruud
