Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello, I'm new to APP and in need of help please

APP Flats

I've just created or tried to create Master Flat/Dark/Dark Flat

Not sure if this is how my flat should turn out?

When I was creating my flats I was aiming around 32k on the histogram

any advice/tips/point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

On the right-hand panel you see a dropdown menu for the stretch (it says 15% BG now), change that to "no stretch" and then check the histogram, that shows you the true exposure. Does look like you used a filter maybe?

ps. I would also add more memory to APP by going to "CFG" on the top left, increasing that to something like 16GB and restart.
