Hello.

Please tell me about the settings for mosaic.
The image is the result of a 2x3 mosaic.
The image of Telescopius is the range of the mosaic.
I have little knowledge about the mosaic of APP.
"calibrated projective options" in Tab 4) is the initial value, but if I need a change,

I want to know how to use it.

Also, how should the later adjustment be done?
Each panel was adjusted by "remove light pollution". Is it necessary to adjust again?

Thank you in advance.

Calibrated projective needs some information about your setup, so you fill in what is asked there. However, this only makes things go a bit faster, you can use the regular setting. Most important for a mosaic:

- Stars count target: about 2000 stars
- Dynamic distortion correction: on (off when you see artefacts in the result)
- Same camera and optics: off
- Scale start: 5. scale stop: 10 (depends on the panel overlap)
- Registration mode: mosaic
- Normalization mode: advanced
- LNC: on, MBB: 5-10% (depending on the overlap %)

Removing light pollution is in most cases required after making the mosaic, because the panels will still all have variations in the background. The panels can look great after LP correction, but still vary in between.

At first, it seemed that there was no strange place, but when it was enlarged,

it was found that the star was partially deformed. How can I fix it?

Thank you.

Like I mentioned in the steps list, if you get artefacts it may be required to switch off dynamic distortion correction.

I didn't have time to use the APP for a while, but today I was able to find the cause of this phenomenon. Vincent's advice gave me a very good hint.

After doing some trials, I found out that two panels had problems.

I changed the Light frame because they were a little out of focus. I will tell you that the problem has been solved.

Thank you Vincent.

I played with the settings related to the mosaic, but how should I choose "distotion margin" in 4) Register?

One magazine states that 0.05 is the recommended value.
What is the effect when this number grows? What kind of phenomenon will occur if this number is excessive or under small?

I got good results at 0.05, but I want to know in advance to use other numbers.

Thank you very much
