Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I have a data set where star analysis fails on quite a few individual subs with 1.084 and none with 1.082 - and these subs look ok. RAW files from EOS RP. I haven't found anything to create a dump of log files. How to properly report this problem?
Regards
Samo
@samol Hi! Let’s start with the version. APP 1.084 doesn’t exist yet. Do you perhaps mean 1.083-beta2? Can you please upload your dataset to
https://upload.astropixelprocessor.com
using upload for both username and password? Please create a directory called samol_failed_registration and I will make sure that Mabula looks at it. Thanks for reporting this error!
@wvreeven yes, it is the latest 1.083-beta. I will upload calibration frames and some frames where star analysis failed and one or two where it didn't.
With registration I also have issues - many times I need to use triangles on wider focal lenghts, which with 1.082 I never did. I will create a set that demonstrates that separately.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you @samol,
I will have a look at your data, thank you for uploading. I am working on the star analysis for the stable version 😉
