Hi All,

I'm a long time user of APP and I'm very happy with it.

A 1,5 year ago I finally did made the step up to a mono camera and trying to create "those stunning golden / blue images".

But somehow I always get a sort of color noise into my pictures and this isn't visible into the monochrome stacks.

I briefly try to describe my work flow:

1th create separate mono stacks of each channel, HA O3 S2.

2th load all those channels as lights and I NORMALIZE them and save them.

3th load those files into the combine tool and assign them to the correct channel.

4th most of the time I choose the SHO 4 algorithm

At this point I get a very pale green yellow image, so i do raise the contrast slider up to 30 or even a bit higer (i think that is also a part of the problem).

If I want to reduce this greenish color I set the the green slider of the HA file lower and start to get warmer golden colors but also get sort of color noise.

I try to boost the the O3 channel to bring out the blue.

At this point i do get an decent image.

First output combine tool

After this i'm going to import this output into the HSL tool to try to adjust the the colors of the green cast and try to bring the yellow more to the "golden" side.

HSL tool

Now i get the strange color noise, i can get rid of them with a noise reduction tool or so but then i'm loosing a lot of details...

I also did try to make of this SHO an LSHO by putting a luminance file into this, i do get much nicer star colors but it doesn't help with the strange sort of noise.

And at the end i'm always getting this orange look without the color differance between the S2 and the HA.

I know I'm doing something clearly wrong but can't figure it out.

In the Tutorials Mabula did a great one for the rosette nebula but this is one for a osc with a L-extreme filter (see link below) if someone could help me with such an "tutorial" this would be very helpfull!!!

The end results Mabula made of that rosette nebula i'm trying to achieve, (maybe a bit whiter star color, but the overal color of the rosette nebula).
See topic "Ha + OIII Dual Narrowband Workflow"  https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/tutorials-workflows/unlinked-stretch-option/#post-23655

Can someone please help me how to create such an stunnig SHO look?

If someone want to try it on my data i've made an google drive link so you can download this data.

Hope someone can help me!!!
