I would like to request that the old stack names are brought back. I used that to keep track of how much time a stack was and what settings were used, now it is a major pain to guess at what is what. I find the new one pretty useless and makes things much more difficult. I don't see the purpose of putting in the object name with no other information, the object can easily be seen once you open it and it should presumably be saved in the folder where you already have the target name. At bare minimum, please put the total integration time back in. This is horrible for when you are stacking multiple nights of data after each session and are trying to measure progress.
I agree with jtrezzo and would like to see the old stack names brought back or al least be given the choice 👍
Dave
A choice might be nice, maybe that's a good thing for settings when they make it into a release. The amount of people wanting it in the headers has been rather huge though. 🙂
I haven't tried the latest version so I might not be up to date, but AFAIK one of the most useful ones "total time", is not in there. Currently I now check what the integration time was and added rename the file to have the time info...
Yes, I think Mabula agreed on an idea to change this a bit. For instance by letting people choose what to put in the filename, I think he’s looking at that.
I just updated to latest version. I don't like losing total integration time in the filename. Please return it.
Thank you,
Szumi
I also would really like to have the integration time and other data back in the filenames.
IMHO a system to set up the file name pattern from choosable variables like e. g. in N.I.N.A would be a very flexible and comfortable solution.
Thank you
Peter
