Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Can you please send me a link showing a step-by-step tutorial, from start to finish on all the settings when processing RAW images.

I may be missing something or need to add some check marks in some of these boxes...Just want to make sure I'm doing all I can and the proper way...

Thanks,

Rod

@rockinrod What kind of raw images do you have? And what software were they taken with? That may be important when processing OSC images with software that don't set the FITS header keywords correctly so APP cannot identify that they are color images.

Having said that: load your lights and calibration files in tab 1. Go to tab 6 and click integrate. There is nothing more to it. What else are you looking for?

@wvreeven

I guess nothing else. Seems I'm doing it correctly...

@rockinrod Like Wouter mentions, that works, basically raw files are handled in the same way as fits for example. You ofcourse can always change settings in the other tabs if you want.

Yes, I will experiment a bit with something a bit smaller, to see the effects.

Thanks,
