Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi, this may be a dumb question. I have a stack of lights taken with an ASI533MC + Optolong L-extreme filter. I wanted to extract Ha and OIII data separately for HOO palette mixing.

I get the expected Ha and OIII results when I use the "interpolation" mode in "6) INTEGRATE" but if i try to drizzle with "Bayer/X-Trans drizzle" mode (2.0 scale and 0.5 droplet size for 2x drizzle) I get output that look like a Ha-OIII extract mono for both Ha and OIII.

Is there a gap in my knowledge and I'm simply not supposed to drizzle when extracting Ha or OIII data?

I am using the "supported" pattern with the "force Bayer/X-Trans CFA" option unchecked in "0) RAW/FITS".

UPDATE: I've just saw that this is actually a bug that will be fixed in 1.8.3 beta 2 here:  https://www.astropixelprocessor.com/community/release-information/astro-pixel-processor-1-083-preparing-next-release/#post-11854

Any chance I could get early access? I would really like to process my data that way 😛

Good find, that is indeed a bug. The next release shouldn't take long anymore, I don't have an ETA, but I would expect it very soon.
