Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
APP really needs a save function. I should be able to save a project, reopen it later, and continue work on it where I left off. This is the most fundamental possible function of any piece of software. Even in the old days of punched cards, I could save my work and reload it without having to start from scratch. That was 50 years ago.

Indeed, we fully agree, this is actually what we are working on right now for the 2.0 stable release. The new feature of project save/load with all the application settings included.Â
Because APP is fully automated in processing from calibration to integration, we need to keep track of a lot of metadata internally, so to save and load a whole project including all settings and analytical results gathered in the process is quite a bit as you can imagine, but this is definitely the next new feature in APP going forward.
