Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I don't have any gain or exposure listed in the frame list, just says 0.000. I am using a new astro camera. I didn't have this problem with my DSLR. I'm assuming it's a simple fix but I don't know what it is.

Thanks!

What camera are you using and are these details also in the FITS headers? If not then the capture program you're using might not have included this information.

Hey Vincent, thanks for the reply. That's what I was thinking because I'm using a QHY183C and I'm saving the images as TIF files. Is that why the info is not there and I should use FIT files?

That may very well be, there's no need to save them as tif I think, just stick with fits and then you can always save as tif later on.
