UPDATE FROM MABULA

I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.

Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.

APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46.  Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.

Hi all,

I would like to know the steps to take in order to make APP work

on Windows10 on the same laptop. Do I have to de-install APP first,

then install Windows10 and then relicense??

What are the correct steps to take?

Thanks for your help with this!!

I think that if the upgrade works out fine, it should still work on Windows 10. Your hardware didn't change etc. I would advise to perform a backup of your system first.

Hi Vincent,

My idea is not to do an upgrade to Windows10 but do a clean install so

there will not be anything left on the harddisk.

I have seen a menu that allows me to deactivate APP from a computer.

Should I do that first, reformat the laptop, install W10 and then reinstall

APP again? ( I still have the licensing data received when I bought APP )

Would that be the correct way to do?

Thanks for your help!!

Mert

Ah ok, yes then you would need to have the licence at least. If that's the case you can just reinstall APP and activate it again, deactivating shouldn't be necessary as it's the same computer, hardware-wise.

Thanks Vincent, that sounds easy enough.

So, reformatting, installing and if needed using the licensing information

supplied when I bought APP should do.

When I do the reinstall of Windows10 I will give feedback in this thread.

I apreciate your help a lot !

Best regards,

Mert

Ps. if you have 3 machines licensed, maybe it's a good idea to at least deactivate 1. Just in case. 😉
