Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

First time trying my hand at SHO imaging.  I have the fits masters for each one and looked up videos on YT for help, but they all seem to be using an older version of APP and the buttons and workflow don't fit.  I stumbled around trying to figure out, but all I get is an error message saying images are not compatible and need the same depth.  The masters are all fits files saved right from APP stacking.

Please I need help.

Hi David,

If you have not already done this, you can readily check the bit depth of each of your channel master files by looking at the info in the FITS header. I imagine at least one must be inconsistent.  Maybe you can simply resave this file in the correct format or at worst redo the integration for this channel.

And did you load the masters in separately and register and normalize them together first?
