Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
When when changing the algorithm from Ha Extract to OIII Extract after extracting the Ha integration in Beta 20, APP starts with Analyze Stars instead of Normalization as is the case in Beta 19 and previous betas. Â When starting in Analyze Stars, the resulting OIII FITS is not aligned with the Ha FITS and cannot be opened in RGB Combine (unless a new alignment routine is run). Â Is there a reason that Beta 20 begins in Analyze Stars when extracting Ha and OIII in dual band (Optolong Ultimate) OSC captures?
Thanks, Jeff
P.S. It also seems that the reordered columns in the log window are not being saved on my computer; a MacBook Pro with M1 chip.
I have the same issue with Beta 20 under windows 11, I have had to realign the OIII channel again before combining Â
Hi @jhart and @gary-clayton,
Indeed, that behaviour changed in beta20 due to another issue. I will fix it 😉 thank you for reporting this.

Hi @jhart and @gary-clayton
I have fixed the behaviour on the demosaic algorithm setting 😉 it will be included in beta22 which I will try to release today or tomorrow.

@mabula-admin Thank you, all is working fine now and with a nice speed increase as well.
