Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello,

I use an L-eXtreme filter, and I like to process my images as HOO. What are the differences between using the HA-OIII Color algorithm, vs running the HA/OIII Extract algorithms and then combining the channels in Combine RGB? I realize I get more control over the levels by using the Combine RGB method, but is there anything else that I'm missing?

Thanks!

Jeff

@jeffreyhorne Hi Jeffrey, you're not missing much. By splitting the channels you get more control over how to combine them again. It also allows you to preprocess the Ha and OIII images before combining them again but usually this isn't necessary.
