UPDATE FROM MABULA

I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.

Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.

APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46.  Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.

When I select a tool, the tool expands to the bottom of the page, and the File Data Information Window disappears, and I am unable to save the data.  I checked a file that I processed two days ago, and now I see the same action.  I have tried to split out the File Data Information Window, but have not been successful.  Most likely it's a setting either on my computer or on APP, but I am at a loss to explain it.  I have been using APP for three years and have never seen this problem.

'I am using an Intel Mac Book Pro.  I just upgraded the operating system to TAHOE 26.2, but this also occurred with the previous operating system, Sequoia. 17.7.4. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bob @raptor7700yahoo-com,

Thank you very much for your question.

Actually, this is normal behaviour for all the tools that the frame list panel dissapears while working in a tool. You can still save the data with the tool and a file saving dialog should appear whenever you try to save something in a tool. APP has worked like this already for a long time.

Can you tell us which APP version you are using now and maybe which version you were using earlier? Maybe that explains why you feel something is off here?

Oh, maybe it has to do with having the frame list in it's own window or not? In the latest APP versions, you need to click on the License & Settings button at the top. THen enable or disable the option of frame list in separate window.

If the frame list is part of the main application window, it is normal that the frame list disappears while working in a tool.

If the frame list is in it's own window, then the frame list is still shown while working in a tool.

Maybe that solves it?

Okay Bob @raptor7700yahoo-com,

For 2.0.0-beta38 this applies:

It has to do with having the frame list in it's own window or not.

Maybe that solves and explains it?

Let me know if you have any question.
