Hi

Which process should I use to perform a DSLR HDR Stack?

1.

a.  Assign identical Lights and Darks with exposure time to a particular imaging session

b.  Repeat a. for each set of different exposure times

c.  Calibrate and Integrate the whole list of loaded darks and lights

d.  Export the finished image as a TIFF or similar for final viewing and post processing

2.

a. Run a separate APP process for each exposure time of Lights and Darks

b. Calibrate and Integrate

c. Export the image as a TIFF or similar ready for stacking in an external package such as Photoshop
d. Repeate a - c for each set of exposure time Lights and Darks?

Thanks

Barry

Hi Barry @bfialkov,

With 1) you can create integrations for the different exposure times, and a combination of those, so yes. The resulting integration will have more depth as a result.

2) also yes, then you get the separate integrations and you can load them into a tool for a HDR combination.

I will add the possibility of HDR to the RGB Combine tool in a future version 😉

Kind regards,

Mabula
