Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

in recent years I found some questions on this topic and the answer always was: is on the to do list.
I want to combine date from me (mono camera) with data from a friend using an OSC (same Chip ZwoASI 2600). Its clear to me that we can combine our separated stacks using APP. A better approach should be to stack all our calibrated single frames together in order to register and normalize them to each other For the OSC, the split channel options could separate the respective RGBs in 3 gray tone frames. Does this work? and what would an appropriate workout with APP look like?

That does work and that is how I combine OSC with mono when I do it.
Normaly, when we use 2 differents sensors, monochrome and color, on 1 object, the mono is for Luminance or narrowband, and the color is for RGB.
You could integrate color OSC and mono separatly, then align 2 stacks. Luminance and color don't need a same normalization (in fact don't need at all)
Then you can process your luminance and your chroma. Or mix both without any issue. Same if your monochrome is a narrowband image. For example Ha, you will mix Ha with recd channel in postprocessing and create a luminance with Ha and lightness RGB signal. Â
