Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
Good morning,Â
I tried a platform itelescopes with 120s for my Light Frames. Because CCD camera I have a lot of vertical lines. They provide Master Darks and master Bias but there are calibrated with MaximDL so I will not be able to use them as I want.Â
My question is of AstroPixelProcessor also supports the Calibration of Darks if the Dark has different exposure time as the Lights? For example the RAW darks are 900s and my Lights 120s so I want to scale the Darks to match the lights.Â
Â
Best regards,
Raul
Hi Raul,
You can enable Scale MasterDark in Tab 2 Calibration and use Darks with a longer exposure time than your lights. You must have Bias frames loaded for that to work.
Hi Raul,
I can't really tell from your attached image but did you also apply Flats? And DarkFlats?
Here are some files as an example (OneDrive): M83_APP.rar
The Flats are not Bin2 like the other files. They are Bin1 but the gues from itelescope told me that they can software binned to the value of 2. I don't know how APP can handle this ...
So I have two problems: The Darks are with 900s seconds exposure time. But this is no problem if APP can scale themÂ
The Flatd are bin 1 and have to software binned to the value of 2 (Bin2). But this I donĂ„t know how.Â
CS,
Raul
No one can help here?
