UPDATE FROM MABULA
I have had a very rough 2 months unfortunately health wise. I was struck 3x in a row with bacterial infections. The second infection occurred  after a routine hospital checkup and I became very sick. I had to rest and take a lot of antibiotics. Once I was recovering and restarting work 1 month ago, I again became sick. The infection was not yet gone, so even more antibiotics and rest was needed. Needless to say, it took a lot of my energy and I needed a lot of rest.
Finally, the infection is really gone and my energy is coming back step-by-step now and I have started work again. I am terribly sorry to have kept you waiting for support. I will address all outstanding questions and e-mails step-by step and will be on the forum daily from today.
APP 2.0.0-beta47 will come soon as well, a lot of work was already completed before I became very ill, so the release is also nearly ready for you. Beta47 will be much faster actually. Many workflows will be more than 2x faster, mosaics can even be 10x faster than before because registration really received a major boost... all compared to beta46. Â Before I release it, I will make sure that everything is working properly and then I will release it.
For some reason APP has started asking me for the activation detail upon opening in Windows 11.
Obviously a glitch has occurred somewhere. I have tried a reinstall but it is still happening.
I would like some advice to correct this, please.
Frank
Dear Frank @thedwo,
Did this occur after updating to windows 11 or perhaps after a RAM upgrade?
In both cases, APP will think that you are running it on another computer and so you need to re-activate.
Another reason could be upgrading to 2.0.0-beta26, we fixed a license management bug in this version which can force a re-activation on some computers.
Simply use your license details to re-activate APP and all should be okay, did you try this?

I installed the latest beta26 several times, with the same happening. I then left it for couple of weeks as our weather has been dreadful (OK for fish and frogs) so had no data to process. Then yesterday I installed APP using a proprietary Uninstaller and then reinstalled beta26 and now it seems to be working OK.
Difficult to tell what the culprit was, but working OK now. Thanks for your help.

Hi Frank,
Okay, I am not sure what you exactly did to solve the issue? Can you share a bit more about that?
I am glad all is okay now on your system 😉

Hi Mabula
APP went through the asking for activation probably 6-8 times in all. After several tries, I then re-installed APP. With same result. I then left it for several weeks, as our weather was rubbish and did other stuff. Then when I got back to it, I used a proprietory uninstaller and removed APP. Restarted the PC and installed APP. It was then working OK.
The only thing I know happened during this episode was several updates to windows 11. My conclusion is that this wasn't really an APP problem direct but a conflict with an interim windows update on my PC.
All's well that ends well.
Thanks
Â

Hi Frank @thedwo,
Okay, thanks for that info, yes, this is probably a windows registry or update issue somehow then...
