Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I read in the forum there were some issues with APP stacking Stellina FITS. Has this been fixed? Do both programs play nicely with each other now? (I am on a Mac).
Well, the Stellina is a bit unusual it seems. Someone mentioned it produced fits files with different RGB patterns which seemed rather odd to me and APP. If it’s something in the software of the Stellina, you should ask the people behind it and point to why that is happening as it’s not something I normally see.
Thanks, but the OP that noticed the problem reports that APP fixed the problem about a year ago. It was an issue with APP, not Stellina 😉
Ah, this was exactly the same issue then? Do you have a link to the post? The RGB bayer problem is new and definitely something Stellina adds to the data, I think you’re referring to another issue which should be fixed. You can always check by downloading the trial version of APP and have a go.
