May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I have a minor problem with windows management. If I configure with anything in a separate windows and then cycle through all the windows the original window, when it receives input focus, isn't brought to the front of the screen and I have to click on it to achieve that.  The screen shot shows the problem; the frame list window overlays it even the original fame is active.

Also when 2.0.0-beta1 was announced last May it promised that full save and restore of the processing menus 1) - 6) would be coming soon followed by complete project save and load. Is there a timescale for this? Even though APP provided very good defaults it is also highly configurable so it this feature must be in high demand.

Thanks for reporting. So by cycling, you mean you cmd-tab (not sure if that is de Mac shortcut) through the windows?

The saving of settings is planned for the final 2.0 release, so Mabula is working on that.

Hi Vincent,

Yes, that's exactly what I mean (although its actually cmd-` to cycle through the windows of a single application).  Now I'm still on Mojave which isn't fully supported by Apple any more so if the same behaviour doesn't show with later releases then I guess it's up to me to catch up!

Really pleased to hear that saving settings will be in the official 2.00.  Any time scale on that?

Thanks
