Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hi,

There is a small mistake in the /opt/astropixelprocessor/astropixelprocessor (at least the one in the DEB packages, I did not check the rest). There needs to be either a newline or a semicolon after "exit 0" in line 21. It now reads "exit 0PK" (PK for zip header) which is causing an error message when APP exits:

exit: 0PK: numeric argument required

Thank you very much Janos @lenart,

Our packaging has changed as well for the new Beta so your feedback is very useful.

We will fix it!

Hi Janos @lenart,

The issue was in our startup bash script and affected both DEB and RPM packages. It is fixed now for 2.0.0-beta2 😉

Thank you very much,

Mabula
