[Solved] Can APP be used on different computers?

Yes you can 😉

You can install APP on 3 separate computers. You can try it with the TRIAL license, it works on 3 computers as well.

With the new security system introduced in version 1.047, APP can be started and used offline as well, so without an active connection to the internet 😉

You need to activate the license on a computer online, so that the license file can be created on your computer. Then after activation, you can simply start and work with APP without an internet connection during your travels.

Can a license be removed from a computer so APP can be activated on another computer?
Example. If I have a laptop, a desktop and a virtual machine each with a license (as 3 are allowed).

If I buy a new laptop and stop using old one for APP, can I deactivate license on old laptop so I can use APP on new laptop?

I guess if my equipment was stolen/lost/destroyed I will need to purchase a new license as I would be unable to deactivate old licenses?

Thank you for your question and welcome to the APP forum 😉

Yes it surely can. You will have to contact me to do this currently. It's no problem 😉 The license is for 3 computers, not for the 3 first activated computers.

In a future APP version, you will be able to control the activated computers yourself using the CFG (configuration) menu. Then contact with me won't be needed and it will work immediately.

I'm allowed to install APP on 3 computers, but when I'm installing APP on his computer is he allowed to work with APP or does he have to buy his own licences ?

The licenses are individual indeed, individuals can use 3 computers (like on a processing PC and a laptop in the field, those kind of cases). Different individuals would need their own license.

Hello, I'm looking to re-install APP on my new desktop. My old system crashed badly. Where can I find my license code?

@csfapp101, as I did order or buy the APP, the license code was sent to my @mail-address, hence, your license code should also be there, deep in your mailbox, unless you did delete that email 😋 , then in that case, you should ask @mabula-admin to send your license code again to the @mail-address.
