Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual
We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.
Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.
I just finished 30 extremely interesting days with the APP Trial and bought a License. In the last weeks I sent a lot of old data through APP, including several panoramics and mosaics. I am stunned by the ability to combine data from different cameras and scopes and even different years so easily! This is an image that consists of 5 different tiles with two different cameras and two different scopes. I still find it difficult to remove the light pollution from images that reach from the bright milky way into the darkness of space, but here it worked well.
Acquired with a Sony A6000 and A6300, with a 135mm Samyang and 250mm Redcat.
Oh my goodness, that is an amazing result! So glad you were happy with APP and recognized its powers. 😉 Mosaics were what made me buy a license back a few years as well. But this is another level, thanks for sharing!
Wow Björn, @bjoernh, that is an awesome result !
Glad to hear that APP is working so well for you and your data 🙂 !!!
Thank you very much for sharing 😉
