Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Hello.

I really like the shorter file names in the new version but I have one request if it is possible:

For me it is not important for LNC information to remain in the file names, but it is really important that I have the integration time in seconds like it was before. And it is a little bit of pain that now I have to open up a fits header viewer to see the intergartion times and after that to rename it manually. Maybe it should be possible, to thick a box with the options to include integration time in the file names too?

Thank you

I think that's a great suggestion, I'll tag Mabula along for this one @mabula-admin.

I agree, I liked the old file naming with total integration time included. We should have more control over what info is used in creating file names. For example, the way SGP allows users to set the file naming format.

Thanks,

I logged in with the intention of making this exact request! Also second dariv's suggestion regarding having an option to set custom file names.

I’ll let Mabula know, it might be nice to have this in settings for a later version. @mabula-admin
