Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

I think it's time for APP to implement the use of the recycling bin. It's all well and good to warn someone that files are being deleted permanently but its not user friendly in the end.

After driving 3 hours to a dark site and imaging all night and driving back another 3 hours. Processing for some hours and then trying to remove unused images. ALL (130) of my lights were deleted by APP. I'm pretty sure I did not do this even by accident. I was highlighting unselected images for deletion when I think the deletion occurred. Anyway, for safety sake, APP should move files to the system recycling bin for any deletion operation. It also deleted my lights from a previous session but I was able to recover those as the original set was still in my recycling bin (trash).
