May 27 2026 APP 2.0.0-beta45 has been released !

Fully Multi-Threaded LNC, many improvements for the registration engine, platform upgrade, and further tuning of internal memory consumption and memory release back to OS.

Apr 14 2026: Google Pay, Apple Pay & WeChat Pay added as payment options

Update on the 2.0.0 release & the full manual

We are getting close to the 2.0.0 stable release and the full manual. The manual will soon become available on the website and also in PDF format. Both versions will be identical and once released, will start to follow the APP release cycle and thus will stay up-to-date to the latest APP version.

Once 2.0.0 is released, the price for APP will increase. Owner's license holders will not need to pay an upgrade fee to use 2.0.0, neither do Renter's license holders.

Could you please allow to select multiple lights in teh analytical results plot, i meant with a click and displacement to select multiple lights to for example remove them?

That would indeed be a great addition - I often find myself having to delete large numbers of subs if, for example, clouds come in for a period. It is painstakingly slow doing it one by one...

If you are trying to sort say on quality, click on the quality heading in file list and it will sort best to worst or worst to best, then you can select a range of worst files in the list and remove or delete them at once. WARNING! A couple of times I tried deleting and it deleted the whole fileset, including my calibration files and there was no recovery - I just spent a whole day redoing my calibration frames as this just happened to me using (beta39) This is something @mabula-admin needs to address. So make sure you have backups of both your session and your calibration frames. What I do for historical reference, I put my calibration masters in a folder in my session folder , then I use that copy for processing. Plus I have a backup of my lights. Safest to use remove from file list.

Another viable option would be after star analysis, with the hit of one button, one could get rid of the failed frames, or the same with the missing registration frames...that would allow speeding up the proccess. Please

Hi Hector@hcdv & @astrogee & @jdwood,

Indeed, this is a very good suggestion. It is on our todo/issue list as well and I have added this topic to the issue to make sure that we address this soon.

Thank you very much.

Hi Hector @hcdv,

That is great to hear :-), the issue is on our list and we will address it probably after the 2.0.0 stable release together with the publication of the full manual.
